T-Ball Wrap-up

Well folks, it was a short season, but Tommy had a great time.  He talked trash to every team in the league (the non-competitive league, mind you) and made lots of great plays.  Every week, he would count down the days to his next "big game".  On the day of his last game, he had the largest cheering section ever.  We had Donnie, Alex, Melissa, James, Kirsten, and my parents along with Jason, Todd, Sarah, and Dean's parents.  And Tommy felt like a king that day.  Thankfully, Alex took lots of great pictures (my camera battery died right when the morning started.  Dumb Dollar Store batteries!)

Here's What's New

I'm not going to say I'm back because I think I have a pretty bad track record of actually being back once I announce that I'll be blogging regularly again.  So I'll just say hi.

Anyway, here's what I've been up to in the past six weeks or so...

- We went to Fort Lauderdale for a quick visit to my parents and the boys got to go to the beach, MetroZoo, and Miami Seaquarium (all firsts for Ty)

- Field trip to the Tallahassee Museum (not quite MetroZoo, but still very fun)

- The boys got to meet the Easter Bunny.  Tommy is finally not afraid and Ty didn't seem to think anything of sitting on the lap of a large rabbit.

- Easter on the Moon.  An unbelievable success this year, it left us all speechless.  Between two services, 3000 people heard the gospel presented loud and clear.  I'm still amazed and in such gratitude to the 64 people who showed up at 6 am to clean up the Moon after Urban Night.  And special fist pumps to Alex Scott, who started setting up sound and lighting there at 3 am.  Unbelievable!  (Unfortunately, I have no pictures of this, so you'll just have to go to facebook and look at City Church's page to see it)
