It's after 10:00 and Tommy's still awake. He's eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Paci Fairy, who is coming to collect his pacis and give him a toy. She's even throwing in a trip to the Tallahassee Zoo. We went around the house tonight and collected all the pacis we could find. Then we put them in a bowl and set them on our doorstep because Tommy decided at the last minute he didn't want the fairy to actually come inside our house. I put Tommy to bed around 8:30 and at 9:30 he was standing up in his bed looking out his window for any signs of the elusive paci fairy. I keep telling him that it's like Santa and the fairy won't come until and everyone else in the house goes to sleep. But Tommy's gonna wait this one out. He may never go to sleep tonight. He's still asking questions about when the fairy will come and does she live on a cloud. And if she does live on a cloud, which one is it?
This whole paci fairy thing seemed like a great idea but it may come back to bite us when he goes to bed after midnight and then wakes up at the crack of dawn to see what the paci fairy left him.
