And We're Off!

Dean has been out of town a lot these last few weeks and so this weekend Tommy and I will be joining him in Ocala as he speaks at a retreat there. It's funny (and a mark of getting older) because I have literally been packing all morning. We're going to be gone for two nights, but we might as well be gone for a week. I have to bring toys for Tommy, his mattress (we're totally not sharing our bed!), his pillow, Elephant (who just happens to be a stuffed elephant), Elephant's Friend (that's his name, he also happens to be a stuffed elephant), and a whole slew of other things. What happened to the days of just throwing everything in a bag and being ready within a half hour or so?!?
