Rain

I feel like I've been in overdrive for a while now... actually I can't remember not feeling like I'm in overdrive- well, except maybe last weekend. Anyway, as I sit here it's raining for the first time in what seems like forever. Something about the rain is relaxing. I don't know if it's because it pretty much forces you to stay inside or just the distant rumbling of thunder (unless you have a little one, then it's terrifying). So now I'm just sitting quietly. And loving it. I realize that I have a basket of laundry to fold, 60 pounds of wheat to figure out where to store, and a host of other things before my piano students arrive in an hour. But for now, Tommy's sleeping and things are quiet. And I'm loving it.
