Just When You Think You've Had Enough...

They go and do something absolutely adorable. And it's kind of impossible to be upset when my two-year-old can be this cute. Reading the previous post, you can see that it's been a pretty exhausting day. But after his "naptime", Tommy was insistent that it was Elephant's Birthday. He went on and on about how Elephant was so excited (he would make his voice really high when he said that) and that he was going to open presents and get a birthday cake. Dean was planning on having his small group over for dinner, so I made 2 pans of lasagna and a chocolate cake. Of course Tommy thought they were all coming for Elephant's birthday party and that's what the cake was for. So as soon as these unsuspecting guys walked in the house, we quickly rushed them to the dining room table and led them in a lively chorus of "Happy Birthday" to Elephant. Enjoy!
